P-32 as a Kitten Mountain Lion Portrait Print

$ 30.00

P-32 managed to cross four major roads in the Los Angeles area in search of a home, only to be tragically killed on Interstate 5 in 2015 at age two. He's a reminder of the importance of providing safe passage for these cats if we want them to have a future.

Matted 11" x 14 " photography quality print of original artwork

Part of the "Paint the Ps" Collection

NWF's California Director Beth Pratt challenged artist (and #SaveLACougars volunteer) Kathi Colman to paint all the Ps - the mountain lions that the National Park Service has tagged in a decade of study where "P" designates puma. NPS is now up to over 50, and as Kathi noted, "to paint all the Ps of our local mountains I have kept my studio humming!"

We know these remarkable cats from their photos, but Kathi captured their individuality with compassion and care. Since Kathi and her husband George are committed to getting the Wallis Annenberg Wildlife Crossing built, they donate prints to the #SaveLACougars campaign. Kathi Colman passed away in 2023 and we are proud to feature her artwork on the Save LA Cougars webstore.

All proceeds benefit the non-profit National Wildlife Federation’s #SaveLACougars campaign to build the Wallis Annenberg Wildlife Crossing and advance connectivity efforts in Southern California and beyond. The Wallis Annenberg Crossing broke ground in 2022 and is advancing toward completion in 2026. Building on significant historic preservation efforts, we are reconnecting a vital habitat corridor to help save the local population of mountain lions and ensure a future for all wildlife in the Santa Monica Mountains.
