Mountain Lion Enamel Pin
Wear a mountain lion on your lapel as a conversation starter and follow up with these fun facts:
Puma concolor (who has 40 other English names, including cougar, mountain lion, puma and panther) is a solitary cat that can run 35-45 mph. Adults average 2-2.5 feet tall at the shoulder and anywhere from 5-8 feet long, nose to tail; males weigh 115-160 pounds, while females are smaller at 75-105 pounds. Lacking a larynx, the cougar can’t roar, but it hisses, growls, chirps and screams.
1.25" Hard enamel pin; gold metal.
All proceeds benefit the non-profit National Wildlife Federation’s #SaveLACougars campaign to build the Wallis Annenberg Wildlife Crossing and advance connectivity efforts in Southern California and beyond. The Wallis Annenberg Crossing broke ground in 2022 and is advancing toward completion in 2026. Building on significant historic preservation efforts, we are reconnecting a vital habitat corridor to help save the local population of mountain lions and ensure a future for all wildlife in the Santa Monica Mountains.
